Filtronic unveils new identity following growth at NETPark

Filtronic has launched a refreshed brand identity to reflect the company’s growth and its expanding role in the international space, defence and critical communications markets.
The announcement follows two years of significant development for the NETPark-based company. During this period, Filtronic has increased its workforce by more than 75%,
strengthened its position as a supplier to major space and defence customers and moved into a new headquarters and manufacturing facility at NETPark.
The new facility has been designed to support annual revenues of more than £200 million, providing the capacity Filtronic needs for its next stage of growth.
Reflecting the business Filtronic has become
Filtronic has developed from a specialist radio frequency engineering company into a strategic technology partner supporting demanding communications, connectivity and sensing programmes.
Its capabilities include solid-state power amplifiers, transmit and receive modules, frequency converters, filters, software and digital radio frequency systems.
These technologies support applications across ground, air and space, including satellite communications, defence systems and critical communications infrastructure.
The refreshed identity is intended to represent Filtronic’s growing capabilities and ambitions as it works with customers across these markets.
Nat Edington, CEO, Filtronic, said,
“Our new identity better reflects the business we are today and the direction we’re heading.
As the space and defence sectors continue to evolve, we see tremendous opportunity ahead. Our technologies already underpin some of the most demanding applications in communications, connectivity and sensing. Yet what really excites me is what’s still to come. I believe we’re still only in the early stages of this journey.”
A new chapter in Filtronic’s NETPark journey
Filtronic’s continued investment at NETPark demonstrates how science and technology companies can develop from specialist research and engineering operations into international manufacturing businesses.
NETPark provides companies with access to specialist offices, laboratories and production space, alongside connections to research expertise, business support and other technology businesses.
Filtronic’s growth also strengthens NETPark’s capabilities in radio frequency technology, semiconductors, satellite communications and advanced manufacturing.
The company’s new identity is now live across its website and digital platforms and is being introduced to global audiences through major industry events.
Congratulations to the Filtronic team as they begin this next chapter.
