Plans to expand NETPark have been approved by Durham County Council Cabinet, who have agreed to invest £62m to finance the expansion providing up to 232,500 sq ft of new laboratory, office, production and storage space at one of the UK’s premier science parks.
NETPark Phase Three consists of up to 11 speculative units from 11,500 sq ft to 35,700 sq ft to allow science, engineering and technology companies to grow, scale-up and commercialise their operations. This initial phase of development is part of larger expansion plan to the park, which includes a Masterplan for up to 433,800 sq ft across the 26-acre site and design and build opportunities up to 80,000 sq ft.
Business Durham, who manage NETPark, has forged a strong partnership with Clear Futures – led by the Robertson Group – to design and build the state-of-the-art facilities needed to make Phase Three a reality. We will work closely with companies to deliver laboratory, office, production and storage space of the highest quality.
A superb 26-acre site with design and build opportunities up to 80,000 sq ft.
