County Durham's Filtronic secures 'largest to date' £24 million SpaceX deal

The NETPark based technology firm has secured a £24 million contract to supply power amplifiers to SpaceX.

Bosses say the “milestone” deal represents the company’s “largest contract to date” and will be delivered in its 2026 financial year.

The agreement builds on a partnership with SpaceX extended just days ago with a £16.8 million deal to support the rocket and spacecraft operator’s Starlink constellation, which uses low Earth orbit satellites to deliver high-speed internet connections.
