The very best North East businesses - and the amazing people who lead them - have had a fantastic celebration at Ramside Hall for the inaugural BUSINESSiQ Awards.
Among the top awards, NETPark-based Wootzano Ltd walked away winners of New Business of the Year.
Northern Echo Editor Gavin Foster told the audience: "The BusinessIQ brand is about championing the incredible businesses in our region and telling the story of why the North East is a fantastic place to invest in.
"The creation of these awards was a natural extension of this – a chance to recognise and reward all the amazing work that goes.
"Despite the challenges we are all facing – we were blown away by the innovation, creativity, skill, drive and determination in the nominations that left us in no doubt that, despite the difficulties ahead, this region has all the foundations to build a bright future."
