Tekgem kickstarts International Expansion with UAE Foothold

Sedgefield based Tekgem, a global leader in Industrial Cyber Security has today announced the commencement of their expansion strategy which is set to give the company an on-the-ground presence to access key Middle East markets.

The global move by Tekgem, whose HQ is based at NETPark, aims to further support and to answer the increasing demand across the UAE region as it leverages significant investment and initiatives into cyber security capabilities.

According to Mordor Intelligence, the UAE Cybersecurity Market is projected to grow from USD 522.06 million in 2023 to an estimated USD 950 million by 2028.

The expansion of Tekgem’s global footprint is a key moment for the company’s growth and further reinforces its position as a leading player in the cyber security space. The team have set up base in Dubai this month to get a feel for the UAE landscape, forging key relationships and collaborations whilst researching site space across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, ahead of showcasing Tekgem at Dubai’s GISec Global 2024 later this month.

GISec Global 2024 is the region's largest cyber security event held at the World Trade Centre, Dubai, and will bring together more than 750 cybersecurity companies and over a thousand domain experts to discuss challenges in AI and technology.
