NETPark-based company secures major European defence technology contract

Filtronic, based at NETPark in Sedgefield, has been selected by a leading European defence prime contractor to deliver the initial phase of a new advanced technology programme.

The award reflects continued customer confidence in Filtronic’s high-performance RF (radio frequency) technology, particularly in supporting next-generation defence applications.

The programme will involve the design, development and delivery of a new wide-bandwidth RF solution, tailored for mission-critical use. Production will take place at Filtronic’s secure, automated microelectronics facility in Sedgefield, enabling high-volume manufacturing of complex RF modules.
