Our NETPark team is growing, with a new appointment and several internal promotions helping us strengthen customer service and the day-to-day management of the site.

The expanded team comes at an important time for us. NETPark is now home to more than 40 companies and around 1,000 employees, with several businesses increasing their presence on site. Filtronic, for example, has expanded its operations at NETPark in response to growing demand for its advanced radio-frequency communications technology.

The completion of NETPark Phase 3 has also added more than 285,000 sq ft of laboratory, office, production and manufacturing space. As our existing companies grow and new businesses join the community, we are expanding our team to ensure NETPark continues to provide a welcoming, well-managed working environment and responsive customer service.

Welcoming a new face to NETPark reception

Leigh Storey has joined us as NETPark Receptionist, bringing 30 years of customer service experience, much of it gained within dental practices. Leigh lives locally and had often wondered what went on behind the entrance to NETPark. She has settled quickly into the role and says joining the team already feels like “coming home”.

New opportunities for our existing team

Leigh’s arrival has enabled Jess Taylor, previously a receptionist at NETPark, to progress into the role of Admin Support Officer. Jess will provide administrative and financial support while working more closely with our building management team. The new position gives her an opportunity to build her experience and learn more about how NETPark operates.

Lisa Gauden has also joined our core team as Property Support Assistant, having previously worked at NETPark as part of the cleaning team. Lisa will help us keep the site and its facilities in good condition, carrying out checks and spotting potential issues before they develop. Her knowledge of the site will be a real asset in her new role.

Supporting NETPark’s continued growth

Sara Williams, NETPark Manager, said:

“I’m delighted to be expanding the NETPark team and particularly pleased that we have been able to give existing members of staff opportunities to progress. Leigh, Jess, and Lisa bring valuable knowledge and experience to their roles.

“With more than 40 companies and around 1,000 people now based at NETPark, businesses such as Filtronic expanding and Phase 3 creating more space for companies to join us, this is an important period of growth for the park.

“The expanded team will help us improve the level of service we provide, maintain a welcoming and well-managed working environment, and continue to offer the responsive customer service our companies expect.”

If you are visiting or based at NETPark, please say hello and welcome Leigh and Lisa to their new roles, and join us in congratulating Jess on her promotion.
