Filtronic to Unveil Next-Generation Amplifiers for Space and Communications at European Microwave Week 2025

ree

Filtronic, based at NETPark, is set to showcase its latest technology at European Microwave Week 2025 in Utrecht, Netherlands (21–26 September). The company is unveiling new high-power amplifiers designed to make satellite communications in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and other advanced systems more reliable and efficient.

The new Cerus V amplifier delivers stronger performance in the V-band frequency range, supporting faster and more stable connections for satellite uplinks. Its modular design means it can be scaled up for larger systems and keep working even if some parts fail – an important feature for mission-critical applications.

Filtronic is also introducing the Cerus W, a compact model that offers high performance in the W-band range. This version is ideal where space, weight and reliability are key factors, such as in aerospace and defence.

By showcasing these innovations, Filtronic is reinforcing its role as a leading UK company developing cutting-edge solutions for the global space and communications industries.
