Filtronic, based at NETPark, marked National Manufacturing Day with a prestigious visit to Downing Street, where Chief Financial Officer Michael Tyerman attended as a guest of Make UK.
The invitation coincided with Filtronic being named North East Business of the Year.
The event, hosted by Make UK, brought together leaders from across the UK manufacturing sector to celebrate its contribution to innovation, economic growth, and job creation.
Attendees had the opportunity to engage with senior government officials, including the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Rt Hon Rachel Reeves, to discuss the future of UK manufacturing.
