CPI Launches UK-India Delegation Programme to Accelerate SME Growth in Biomanufacturing and Pharma

CPI, headquartered at NETPark, has announced an exciting new opportunity for UK-registered SMEs in the biomanufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors to join a high-impact delegation to India, one of the world’s fastest-growing biotech and pharma ecosystems.

Part of the UK-India 2035 Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and supported by the British High Commission in India, this initiative is designed to unlock international growth opportunities for innovative SMEs. The programme is being delivered by CPI under the UK-India Technology Security Initiative and the Net Zero Innovation Partnership (NZIP).

Selected SMEs will travel to India in February 2026, with planned attendance at the prestigious BioAsia Conference and visits to leading partner sites. Participants will benefit from:

  • Direct engagement with key players across India’s pharma and biomanufacturing landscape, including industry leaders, government bodies, academic institutions, and philanthropic funders.

  • Strategic introductions to support commercialisation, regulatory navigation, and market entry.

  • Opportunities for collaborative R&D and innovation with Indian organisations.

  • Access to supply and value chain networks to support scale-up and production.

  • A travel grant covering flights, accommodation, and conference attendance.

India’s dynamic mix of start-ups, family-run enterprises, and global pharma leaders presents a fertile ground for UK SMEs to scale technologies and forge lasting partnerships. The delegation aligns with growing UK-India cooperation in sustainable technologies, advanced pharma, AI, and digital innovation.

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be UK-registered SMEs operating in the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors, with a commercialisation focus and prior seed funding.

Application Deadline:23:59 on Tuesday 7 October 2025

This initiative reflects CPI’s ongoing commitment to supporting innovation and international collaboration from its base at NETPark, helping SMEs turn cutting-edge ideas into global impact.
