aXenic is looking for a highly motivated employee for the role of Development Engineer involving the practical development in high speed optoelectronic device assembly and evaluation for both subcomponent and finished packaged forms.

Implementing your own assessment, characterisation and inspection methods, you will demonstrate compliance of our products with market requirements and customer specifications to defined project and quality standards.

You will be responsible for carrying out experimental builds and generating demonstrators, but will have the opportunity to be guided and mentored by experts in their field to develop and extend your own experience and expand your capabilities beyond these projects and influence the success and growth of the business.

You will have close contact to design and manufacturing engineers and suppliers to improve product performance and yield and to reduce cost.

You will have training and support to take an active and wider role in the design and development process.
