About the event
Join us for a workshop and conference for the UK Viruses of Microbes community. Following on from our popular launch event, join us again in January 2024. This will be a two-day conference, preceded by a phage genomics workshop. If you plan to attend the workshop, please tick the associated box when registering, as spaces may be limited. The following two-day round table conference will be like the January 2023 event.
Our VOM-UK events are designed to support the development of postgraduate and early careers researchers, offering interaction with group leads and networking with peers. The meeting is open to academia and industry interested in Viruses of Microbes.Phage Informatics Workshop

Join us for a practical genomics workshop. Using research resources provided by CLIMB, focusing on viral genome assembly, annotation and taxonomy. A laptop is required to participate.Round Table Conference
Thursday 25 January 10:00-18:00 (followed by 18:00 drinks reception and 18:30 buffet dinner)
Friday 26 January 10:00-16:00
Hear from invited keynote speakers and over 100 PGRs researchers talking about their current projects. Join in round table discussions, build collaborations, and be part of the developing VoM network across the UK.
