About the event
Technology Transfer can be described as the practice of getting knowledge and research out of the lab and into industry and society. This is of growing importance for publicly-funded science and engineering as a way of generating impact for society and the economy – but there is more we can do to increase our collaboration and ways of working.
This event will introduce some different perspectives from our presenters in industry, small business, government and PSREs and discuss how we can learn from our experiences to optimise Technology Transfer so that it delivers the best opportunities and value for all of us.
Guest speakers include:
Mark Thomas InstMC M-SIG Technology Transfer Working Group
Lucy Caffery NPL
Alastair Hales About energy
Megan Thomsett Government Office for Technology Transfer
