Development Plots

NETPark offers a range of different sized office, incubation and laboratory space ranging from 151 sq ft up to 22, 110 sq ft providing space for ambitious, innovative, high tech science, engineering and technology companies from start-up’s to multi-national corporations.

Companies located at NETPark are provided with a dynamic and supportive environment to accelerate their growth into global markets. As a result of this growth many of the companies on the park require bespoke grow-on space to provide the right mix of laboratory, office and clean room space to enable them to prototype, scale up and manufacture on site.

Many of the companies on the park anticipate needing more space in the next 2-5 years, which has led us to develop NETPark Phase Three creating a 1km road from the A177 into NETPark from the north. This offers access to a further 26 acres of development land to generating additional grow-on space to meet the needs of the companies at NETPark.

Phase 3 has opened up over 26 acres of development land north of NETPark

The infrastructure works were made possible thanks to a £5m grant from the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) Local Growth Fund (LGF) as part of the North East Growth Deal from the Government.

NETPark is a key location in North East England, we are the only UK science park with two catapults High Value Manufacturing Catapult through The Centre for Process Innovation’s (CPI) national flagship facility for printable electronics and the North East Satellite Applications Catapult.

This, and the presence on-site of two of Durham University’s most advanced research groups combine to offer any technology business investing in NETPark the opportunity to co-locate with two of the UK’s major technology drivers demonstrating the valuable intensive support environment that can facilitate and accelerate the growth of companies located here at NETPark.
