Professional Network Technology Solutions (PNTS) Success Story

Professional Network Technology Solutions provides a full range of IT design, installation, maintenance and off-site support services to smaller organisations, typically working with businesses employing 1-100 staff which do not have their own internal IT team.

Launched in 2015, by co-founders Paul Ashley and Mark Pearson, PNTS relocated early in 2017 from its registered office in Spennymoor to a new home here at the North East Technology Park (NETPark) and business has gone from strength to strength ever since.

Paul and Mark, are both highly experienced IT specialists who previously worked together for eight years for a larger multi-site IT service organisation before deciding that the time was right to set up on their own.

The pair chose NETPark Incubator because of its excellent location and the park’s modern technology focused offering. Speaking of the move Paul said:

“Since launching, I’m delighted to say that we have enjoyed steady growth, working with a range of clients across the manufacturing, science and technology sectors. Also, thanks to our specialist knowledge and success of supplying, installing and maintaining systems which run on BIM and CAD software, we have been able to tap into the construction sector and now work with some of the region’s well-known architectural practices, engineering design consultancies and smaller building contractors and certainly see this as a growth area as more companies are required to use the modelling technology.  I believe this area of expertise sets us apart from our competitors.

“When looking for premises which would support our growth, whilst we’d looked at other locations nothing came close to NETPark. Being situated at NETPark gives us the perfect base from which to continue to provide clients with the high level of service and expertise they’ve come to expect from us and manage our continued success and growth plans. The office is modern and well serviced and reflects the type of company we are.  It is also a great place to work so I’m confident it will help as we look to recruit more IT professionals in the very near future.  As NETPark continues with its expansion plans there will be an opportunity for us to move into larger offices and make further appointments.”
