Filtronic enters new financial year with record order book

NETPark-based Filtronic says it is well positioned for further growth after securing major contracts and investing in its people, facilities and manufacturing capabilities.
The company, which designs and manufactures advanced communications technology for the space, aerospace, defence and telecommunications markets, reported revenue of £55.5 million for the year ending 31 May 2026.
During the year, Filtronic secured a record multimillion-pound agreement with SpaceX, further work with a US satellite customer and a contract worth more than £5 million with a European aerospace manufacturer.
The business enters its new financial year with a record order book, a broader customer base, expanded manufacturing capacity and a growing portfolio of technologies.
Chief executive Nat Edington said: “The business has never been better positioned.”
Filtronic’s progress demonstrates the specialist engineering and manufacturing expertise found at NETPark and the role companies based here are playing in global space, defence and communications supply chains.
