NETPark based Tekgem Achieves Fortinet’s Operational Technology Partner Specialisation

NETPark based Tekgem, Industrial Cyber Security Specialists, today announced that it has achieved Operational Technology (OT) Specialization as part of the Fortinet Engage Partner Program.

With the Operational Technology Specialization, Tekgem’s sales and technical teams have now a better understanding of OT best practices and requirements and gained expertise to deploy on its own a consistent and effective IT and OT security. Tekgem is able to help customers secure their converged IT-OT network to close OT security gaps in deploying Fortinet’s solutions, as a current (third party) independent Fortinet authorized reseller, to deliver visibility, control and behavioural analytics customers require.

In a fast-moving industry, specializations focused on market opportunities enabled by the Fortinet Engage Partner Program help partners be recognized and valued by current and potential customers as trusted partners who have the expertise, services and technologies they need to fulfil their business needs.

“Gaining Fortinet OT Specialist status reaffirms our commitment to demonstrating that Tekgem are leaders in protecting critical infrastructure and industrial assets. We are not only experts in the field of cyber security but we understand process control networks and industrial automation control systems and how protecting these assets are critical in terms of safety and operations. As part of achieving OT specialist status, having Fortinet sales and technical NSE7 certified network security architect resource within our team enables us to ensure our industrial customer base are able to take full advantage of the Fortinet Security fabric across their manufacturing systems and networks.” Ian Gemski – Managing Director
