NETPark Life with Chris Boyd General Manager InSpec / Redditch Medical

NETPark Life is a regular feature providing insight into the types of people and businesses you’ll find at NETPark, as well as what it’s like to work here in Sedgefield, County Durham from the people who know it best!

In this feature we ask Redditch Medical’s General Manager Chris Boyd about his NETPark Life.

  1. How long have you worked at Redditch Medical and what is a typical day like?

I’ve worked at Redditch Medical since August 2020, but been based at the NETPark since 2018; a typical day at Redditch Medical starts with a set of challenges that set you up for the day, be it equipment or process, supply and demand quandaries or just good old fashioned sit-down and scratch your head problems; however, you always leave with a feeling of satisfaction and a job well done!

  1. What do you like most about your job?

Dealing with the challenges and problems and finding those solutions are key for me, with the approach and understanding that there is an “every day is different” workday, is the ultimate satisfaction feeling.

  1. What is the best thing about working at NETPark?

NETPark provides a self-sufficient community of people, teams and companies; all from different backgrounds and technologies; diversity and leading-edge approach, provide an environment of learning and movement… and now a good coffee!

  1. What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

Walking the dogs, watching films and craft beers, not all at the same time; a good beer garden on a warm evening and a nice meal go a long way to keeping the morale up!
