IBEX secures £3.25m funding to transform osteoporosis diagnosis and care
IBEX Innovations Limited, the UK-based provider of advanced medical imaging software, is delighted to announce the completion of a £3.25m equity financing round from existing venture and corporate investors.
The funding will be used to drive market adoption of the innovative IBEX Trueview® software platform across medical X-ray imaging applications and to complete commercialisation of the unique Trueview bone health product which enables early population-wide diagnosis of osteoporosis from standard X-ray scans. Widespread adoption of Trueview has the potential to generate annual healthcare savings of £19bn and save 110,000 lives over an initial 10-year period.
Dr Neil Loxley, IBEX CEO commented: “IBEX has made outstanding progress in product and market development in the past year despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. This funding will provide the company with the means to execute its ambitious plans and secure a leading position in the emerging bone health market. I am grateful for the continued support of the existing investors who participated in this round, and excited by the challenges and opportunities ahead.”
