Face mask media testing supported by 3D printer
In order to meet the increased demand from researchers and manufacturers to test filter mask maker, Filter Integrity Ltd have invested in a 3D printer.
The 3D printer has enabled Filter Integrity Ltd to print adaptors for the various new mask styles and media that academics, researchers and customers are testing and developing.
In combination with the Palas GmbH PMFT filter tester enabling the widest range of test methods, these bespoke adaptors enable testing to be completed to the many and varied protocols and International Standards, meeting the requirements of developers of new masks / materials and those investigating sanitisation / sterilisation protocols for mask reuse.

CPI has developed a specialist offering to support SMEs looking to develop their printable electronics applications and our partnership with Business Durham has been instrumental in attracting several SMEs to locate here in the region.
We initially came because of the printable electronics centre but access to a highly skilled semi conductor workforce in the North East has been a key factor in us staying and growing here, as well as the value for money office space and the access to funding.
The proximity to the universities and the infrastructure are very important factors. Ultimately having a presence in Europe is very valuable to us and we intend to stay at NETPark for many years to come.
