Join the Satellite Applications Catapult and the community of entrepreneurs & businesses based at Harwell by video link from the NETPark Incubator, hosted by our North East Satellite Applications Centre of Excellence.

Satuccino is a specially designed space industry networking event for space technology and satellite application sector companies. It gives you the opportunity to find out what your sector colleagues are up to, share ideas, network and get an update on new opportunities from across the space industry.

If you’d like to do a 60 second pitch and highlight your organisation to all attendees including the space sector organisations at Harwell, please get in touch with Elaine Scott, Business Engagement and Opportunities Manager at Business Durham by 12 October.

Please note: Places for a pitch are limited and will be offered to space related businesses on a first come first served basis.

You can attend both the Workshop and Satuccino Extra Shot networking event, or just either sessions on the day.

Workshop: How to Write Successful Bids for Space Projects

Led by Andy Bennett, the Space Lead at the Knowledge Transfer Network, this workshop aims to provide information on the application process for competitions held by various agencies funding space sector activities such as Innovate UK and European Space Agency. They will cover how to write a successful grant application, giving advice on how to improve the quality of a submission, based on past competitions. This event would benefit researchers and SMEs that are new to grant applications, or anyone wishing to improve their skills in bid writing.
