The monthly Innovation Breakfast Talk (formerly NETPark Net breakfast) networking sessions are informal, informative, networking opportunities designed to help Science, Engineering and Technology companies network with each other. These are sometimes held at NETPark, and other times on the location of hosting companies. Why not come and share a coffee and breakfast pastries with us?

Alternative sources of funding:  Where to look and how to pitch for it

Maven’s local investment team will highlight the variety of funding streams, including the Finance Durham Fund, available to regional businesses depending on their stage, size and sector. They will demonstrate how to identify and source the right finance for your business and explain what is involved in a typical investment process.

The session will also offer pointers on pitching to investors, providing a genuine insight into what investors look for when reviewing a proposal.

Tait Walker’s local corporate finance team will discuss the support available to local businesses raising cash for their business and the benefits of using an advisor.
